Detroit Athletic Club Awards 2010
Michigan High School and College Athlete of the Year Honors
DETROIT - The Detroit Athletic Club (DAC), in keeping with its longstanding tradition of supporting athletics in the community, announced last night the winners of the 2010 Michigan High School and College Athlete of the Year awards. These prestigious honors are awarded not only for athletic ability, but also for the academic and humanitarian efforts of high school and college student athletes.
The 2010 Michigan High School Athlete of the Year winners are Emily Bos of Holland, MI and Jason Fracassa of Sterling Heights, MI. The recipients of the annual College Athlete of the Year Award are Dan LaFevour, Centaral Michigan University football standout and Alyssa DeHaan, Michigan State University basketball star.
Winners of the 2010 Michigan High School Athlete of the Year Awards were announced last night during the annual DAC National Athletic Awards, which were held at the DAC and benefit the March of Dimes.
